For  smaller machine shops, the BellHawk Online Simple Materials Tracking System(SMTS) enables the tracking of batches of materials as they move from one work-center to another. SMTS also captures the labor taken for each operation on each job and can compare the actual time taken with stored labor standards.

For machine shops with more complex materials traceability requirements, such as those imposed by aerospace, DoD, automotive, and medical customers, the BellHawk Real-Time Operations Tracking System (RTOPS) integrates the ability to track and trace raw, intermediate, work-in-process, and finished products inventory so as to meet these organizations' materials tracking and traceability requirements.

For machine shops making components for medical applications, BellHawk is CFR 21 Part 11 compliant enabling process validation to meet FDA cGMP (Code of Good Manufacturing Process) requirements.

With the use of its quality control tracking option, BellHawk RTOPS  meets the process traceability requirements of ISO 9001, as well as those imposed by organizations such as the DOT and the FAA.
